The 14th Emmanuel Egbogah Legacy Lecture Series is scheduled as a hybrid event on Thursday September 18, 2025 at the Emerald Energy Institute, University of Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The theme of the legacy series is “From Resource Wealth to Energy Equity: Nigeria’s Gas Opportunity in the Decarbonization Era”.
According to Emmanuel Egbogah Foundation, “As the global system transitions to a low-carbon future, Nigeria must redefine the role of its vast natural gas resources. The 2025 lecture examines how natural gas can serve as a catalyst for energy equity- expanding domestic access, driving industrialization and supporting a just transition.”
