AJERAP congratulates The Gambia on Independence Anniversary

 

The African Association of Energy Journalists and Publishers (AJERAP) has extended a heartfelt congratulations to the Government and people of the Republic of The Gambia on the occasion of their Independence Anniversary.

 

Since attaining independence on February 18, 1965, The Gambia has shown remarkable determination in strengthening democratic governance, promoting peace, and advancing socio-economic development.

 

In a congratulatory message to the government and people of The Gambia, the President of AJERAP, Udeme Akpan, stated: “The African Association of Energy Journalists and Publishers, Journalists (AJERAP) heartily congratulates the government and the good people of the Republic of The Gambia on the joyous occasion of their Independence Anniversary.

 

“On this historic day, we celebrate the resilience, unity, and enduring spirit of the Gambian people whose commitment to nation-building continues to inspire the African continent. Since attaining independence on February 18, 1965, The Gambia has demonstrated remarkable determination in strengthening democratic governance, promoting peace, and advancing socio-economic development.

 

“AJERAP commends the Government of The Gambia for its efforts in fostering stability, regional cooperation, and sustainable development. We recognize the country’s contributions to African solidarity and its ongoing strides in strengthening institutions and empowering its citizens.

 

“As you commemorate this significant milestone, we join you in reflecting on “past achievements and looking forward to a future filled with greater prosperity, peace, and progress.

 

“We wish the Government and people of The Gambia a memorable Independence Anniversary celebration.”
